    Associate Professor of Social Psychology and Director of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Nicosia, Athens Campus

    Theofilos Gkinopoulos is an Associate Professor of Social Psychology at the University of Nicosia (Athens Campus) and Director of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at the same university. He previously served as an Assistant Professor of Social Psychology at Jagiellonian University in Poland and as a Visiting Professor of Mixed Social Research Methods at the University of Warsaw, Centre for Research on Prejudice. He was awarded a PhD in Social Psychology in 2019 and subsequently received a Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (UK). He has also conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Greenwich (UK) and the University of Crete (Greece) on topics related to social psychology, intergroup relations, and diversity. His research interests include intergroup relations, intergroup beliefs, and group identities, particularly in contexts of deprivation, victimisation, and uncertainty. His publications include more than 55 papers and two monographs currently under contract.
