    Sarah Font, PhD MSW, is a Professor of Social Work at the Washington University in St. Louis. She is a quantitative social scientist specializing in the use of linked administrative data to examine the U.S. child protection system and the juvenile and criminal legal systems. Her research focuses on issues related to parental substance use, abuse and neglect, foster and kinship care, and child fatalities. Her work is funded by the National Institutes of Health and Arnold Ventures. She serves on the advisory board for the National Data Archive on Child Abuse and Neglect, and the Bipartisan Policy Center's working groups on child welfare funding and accountability and the termination of parental rights. Her work aims to inform efforts to improve the experiences and outcomes of maltreated children and children at risk.
