Rūta Grigaliūnaitė is a Project Manager at CESIE ETS and Coordinator of the SexSense Network, with over 10 years of experience in promoting comprehensive sexuality education (CSE), prevention of gender-based violence, gender equality, and inclusive societies. She has collaborated with NGOs across Europe and globally, including in Italy, Portugal, Lithuania, Georgia, Cambodia, and Brazil, managing complex projects both technically and administratively. She currently leads the Bottom-Up Talks initiative, which addresses teen dating violence and school-related gender-based violence by strengthening young people’s mental health and equipping entire school communities with knowledge and skills grounded in intersectional, evidence-based, and trauma-informed approaches. Rūta also serves as Child Protection and Gender & Diversity Officer at CESIE.
Connect to Protect – Children & Youth at Risk Conference is an international forum dedicated to strengthening child protection and improving outcomes for vulnerable children, adolescents, and young people. Organised by IASIS NGO, the conference brings together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and organisations working across sectors to address the most pressing challenges affecting children and youth today.
