Oumayma Raimi is the Initiatives Unit Team Leader at UNICEF's Office of Innovation, where she leads the strategic development and investment readiness of a global portfolio of innovation initiatives designed to improve outcomes for children. Her work brings together governments, philanthropy, academia and the private sector to transform promising innovations into scalable public goods capable of achieving systems-level impact. Her portfolio spans digital learning, child health, humanitarian innovation, climate resilience, financial innovation and emerging technologies, with a particular focus on strengthening partnerships, mobilising investment and supporting governments to scale innovation sustainably. She is passionate about ensuring that children and young people are not only protected from rapid technological and societal change, but empowered to help shape the systems that will define their future.
