Sophie Klomfar (Mag.) serves as Leading Clinical Psychologist at the Forensic Examination Center for Children and Adolescents (FOKUS) in Vienna, Austria. Following training in trauma therapy (tf-CBT and CCT) and child protection (German Society for Child Protection in Medicine; DGKiM), she has specialized in the clinical psychological assessment of children and adolescents in cases of suspected child maltreatment. Her clinical and research interests focus on child maltreatment and child protection in healthcare settings, including the interdisciplinary child protection practice and follow-up of suspected abuse and neglect cases. She frequently provides lectures and training on child protection, with particular emphasis in communication and interviewing techniques with children and adolescents, primarily for healthcare professionals.
