    Ezra Goldstein is an Assistant Professor in the Carter School of Public Policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology. As an economist, he specializes in using linked administrative data to examine the U.S. child welfare system. His recent research focuses on substance use among system-involved families and adolescent mental health treatment. Through the application of econometric methods, his work focuses on identifying the causal effects of child welfare policy on the long-term outcomes of vulnerable children. His research aims to inform evidence-based policy and improve economic opportunity for disadvantaged households.
