15 years ago, she founded one of the largest NGOs in Slovakia, which employs more than 100 clinical psychologists, psychotherapists and social workers, speech therapists and physiotherapists, general practitioners working in the field of gender-based violence and human trafficking (especially active during the war in Ukraine since 2022). TENENET has become the most comprehensive provider of integrated health and social services, special education services and a family center in Slovakia, which was especially appreciated during the war in Ukraine and by UN agencies. For WHO, I led an expert group at the Ministry of Health of the Slovak Republic to best implement the MHPSS standards during the refugee crisis. She is a member of the Government Council for Mental Health in Slovakia and we are currently creating a reform of mental health and community psychiatry along with the introduction of an effective MHPSS. She actively brings proposals for new public policies, systemic measures and consultations for other NGOs in Slovakia and the EU. She is a board member of the largest European organization for people with disabilities and special needs, EASPD.
