Chryssa Kaltsoni is a Social Criminologist and Forensic Psychologist specializing in organized crime, terrorism, espionage and forensic behavioral analysis. She serves as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Hellenic Police Academy and as a Scientific Associate to the Secretary General for Anti – Crime Policy at the Hellenic Ministry of Citizen Protection. She is also a Member of the Thematic Panel 1 of the EU Knowledge Hub on Prevention of Radicalisation, contributing to European initiatives on preventing violent extremism through research, multidisciplinary collaboration, and knowledge exchange. She is also a full member of the Hellenic Society of Criminologists of Panteion University. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of the Aegean, specializing in Combating Organized Economic Crime and Terrorism Financing within the framework of European institutional policy. She also holds an MSc in Applied Forensic Psychology from the University of Central Lancashire, UK, where her research focused on espionage, offender profiling and deception detection, as well as an Executive MBA in Leadership and Crisis Management in the Armed Forces from the University of Bolton, UK. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the European University of Cyprus and an MSc in Forensic Medicine and Forensic Psychiatry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In addition to her academic qualifications, she holds professional certifications in Cybersecurity from Palo Alto Networks, United States, as well as in United Nations Military and police operations (UNF and UNPOL) and Child Protection in Conflict Zones from the Peace Operations Training Institute, United States. She has numerous scientific publications in journals and professional publications of the Hellenic Army General Staff, the Hellenic Air Force, the Hellenic Navy, the Hellenic Police, Military History, Security Manager and Serbian Strategic Review. She regularly presents her research at national and international scientific conferences on offender profiling, violence risk factors, and violent extremism.
