Boglárka Varga is a product designer and art teacher based in Budapest. She graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts as a stage and costume designer, and later received degrees in product design and art education from Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design. Her design practice focuses on children, play, and participatory approaches to design. Her diploma project explored the development of an educational game designed to support children’s empathy and emotional intelligence. During her studies, she also participated in participatory design projects with children from disadvantaged communities. These experiences shaped her approach to design and encouraged her to explore how design can create meaningful, empowering, and child-centred spaces for participation. She currently works with primary school children and teaches design thinking through the Tomorrow Belongs to You Scholarship Programme.
