Ornella Fiore is a lawyer admitted to the Court of Cassation in Turin, where she has practised since 2005, specialising in criminal law, immigration law and juvenile law. As a member and adviser to ASGI, she focuses her work on the protection of unaccompanied foreign minors, vulnerable migrant women and the challenges associated with reaching the age of majority. She is active as a speaker and trainer on advanced training courses for magistrates, social workers and lawyers, and is the author of numerous essays and academic articles in legal journals. She is constantly engaged in promoting fundamental rights and analysing the intersections between migration, deviance and institutional safeguards.
