Dr. Eyup Sabir Erbicer is an Assistant Professor of Psychological Counseling and Guidance whose work focuses on cyberbullying, cyber dating violence, adolescent mental health, prevention science, and mobile-based mental health interventions. His research combines systematic reviews, meta-analyses, qualitative studies, and randomized controlled trials to understand digital risks among children and adolescents and to develop evidence-based prevention and intervention models. Dr. Erbicer has worked on several nationally and internationally funded projects supported by TUBITAK, the National Institute of Justice, Erasmus+, and Horizon Europe. He was a TUBITAK research fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received the YOK Doctoral Thesis of the Year Award in 2025. His work brings a psychological, developmental, and intervention-oriented perspective to child protection discussions, particularly in relation to cyberbullying, problematic digital technology use, school functioning, and adolescent well-being.
